About this Group - How to Join
Greetings and welcome to CLUB CCD 2!
This is a continuation of Club CCD (https://clubccd.blogspot.com/), which has reached capacity for new photos, but which is still active. Please make all new posts here rather than at Club CCD.
These are sites for the discussion and appreciation of the Cancan in all
its forms, from its genesis in Paris during La Belle Epoche, to its
appearance in London, San Francisco and The Old West. Owned and operated
by the online cancan community, CCD is open to everybody with a genuine
interest in the World's Greatest Dance. Please note, however, that CCD
is a G-Rated group, so please don't post anything objectionable. While
the content of this site may be described as slightly 'risque,' this is
not an adult community in any sense of the word, and anything deemed
inappropriate will be deleted immediately.
Background - How to Join
The Group is set up as a public group. That means anyone can see it by
typing in the URL. However, to post or comment you need to be added as
an Author. That has to be done by invitation, and there isn't a feature
on the Blog for you to ask to be added as a Author. So, to join the new
group and post you will need to send an email to Barbebleu's email
address at Yahoo (barbebleu2006). You will then receive an invitation by
email (check your spam/junk folder if you don't see it your inbox).
Follow the instructions in the invitation to join. You will have to
register with Google (which owns Blogger) to do so, but many of you are
probably already registered with them.
The main page is a blog with consecutive entries. The blog posts can
have photos or videos in them, but that would not be convenient from the
standpoint of accessing all the photos, videos or other features. To
accommodate that we have set up the Pages listed on the right hand side
of the Blog. Clicking on the links for them will take you to pages for
the subjects listed.
Only administrators will be able to edit or add to those pages and the
related albums, but we will try to copy over to the albums the photos
and videos that are posted in messages.

your email address in the "Follow by Email" box a the bottom of the
