Club CCD 2: July 2025

Welcome

Greetings and welcome to CLUB CCD 2! This is a continuation of Club CCD (https://clubccd.blogspot.com/), which has reached capacity for new photos, but which is still active. Please make all new posts here rather than at Club CCD. The main discussion site, where most people post, is CancanGroup.io (https://groups.io/g/CancanGroup). Please go there for daily text postings. These are sites for the discussion and appreciation of the Cancan in all its forms, from its genesis in Paris during La Belle Epoche, to its appearance in London, San Francisco and The Old West. Owned and operated by the online cancan community, CCD2 is open to everybody with a genuine interest in the World's Greatest Dance. Please note, however, that CCD2 is a G-Rated group, so please don't post anything objectionable. While the content of this site may be described as slightly 'risque,' this is not an adult community in any sense of the word, and anything deemed inappropriate will be deleted immediately.

The Kessler twins (I think) go Hungarian. Czardas at 1:06.

Fromm the post:

" The word "czardas" (Hungarian: csárdás) is associated not only with the famous Hungarian dance, but also with the beautiful vocal parts from the operettas by J. Strauss "The Bat", I. Kalman "The Devil Rider", "The Csardas Queen" and others.

The energy of the czardas will be shared with us by: Tatyana Shmyga, Sergey Menakhin, Liliya Amarfiy, Gerard Vasiliev, Monika Fischl and others.

Let's remember the most famous "czardas". And please write in the comments what other czardas from operettas you can remember."
